We have so much confidence in our products that we dare to issue a performance guarantee in advance for the acoustic performance of the floating screed. To achieve our performance guarantee, we have developed the Fonofloor formula. This describes the steps that are taken to achieve a guaranteed performance on the acoustic insulation of the floating screed.
Good sound insulation is not achieved just like that and is a precise process from drawing board to delivery. Disruptions can occur at various times and in various ways. That is precisely why it is a reassuring thought to obtain guarantees in advance. Combining knowledge and the interaction of people and materials ensures the best result.
We can use our knowledge in the field of acoustic insulation during the entire construction process and offer you “the peace of security and the certainty of tranquility”. Thanks to our guidance and our modern building materials, the performance guaranteed in advance will be delivered. A noise measurement by an independent external party provides proof of this.

fonofloor 8 mm
fonofloor® is a high-quality acoustic insulation membrane of 8 mm thick to reduce contact noise in floating screeds.
Laboratory tests on the dynamic stiffness of fonofloor® resulted in an impressive 18 MN / m3. fonofloor® is made up of an acoustically insulating layer of approx. 3 mm with an underside of polyester non-woven of approx. 5 mm.
Due to an impressively low dynamic stiffness, fonofloor® achieves very good acoustic results: LnT, A 49 to over 39 (Ico≥ +10 - +20 dB).
For demanding situations or situations with different types of construction floors, such as wood or very light concrete, the product range offers a number of expansion options, such as fonobase® and fonoblock®.
Because fonofloor® is robust and waterproof, processing is even possible if the room to be insulated is not wind and watertight. fonofloor® is easy to use in combination with underfloor heating by means of fonofix®.
fonofive 6 mm
fonofive® is a high-quality acoustic insulation membrane of 6 mm thick to counteract impact sound in floating screeds.
fonofive® is made up of an acoustically insulating layer of approx. 1.5 mm with an underside of polyester non-woven of approx. 4.5 mm. With fonofive® excellent acoustic results are achieved: LnT, A 54 to LnT, A 47 (Ico ≥ + 5 to +12 dB) on a construction floor of approx. 500 kg / m2 or heavier.
For demanding situations or situations with different types of construction floors, such as wood or very light concrete, the product range offers a number of expansion options, such as fonobase® and fonoblock®.
Because fonofive® is robust and waterproof, processing is possible even if the room to be insulated is not wind and waterproof. fonofive® is easy to apply in combination with underfloor heating and can be applied with or without a leveling layer.
fonobase 12 mm
fonobase® is an effect-enhancing underlayer of only 12 mm thick that is always used in combination with fonofloor®, fonofive® or fonoblock + ®.
When using fonobase® as an underlayment in the acoustic insulation system, extremely good results are achieved under normal conditions: LnT, A 44 to LnT, A 34 (Ico ≥ +15 to +25 dB).
In addition, systems with fonobase® as an underlayment offer the possibility to achieve very good noise reductions even with acoustically moderate and light concrete construction floors: LnT, A 49 to LnT, A 44 (Ico ≥ +10 to +15 dB).
fonoblock + 9 mm
fonoblock + ® combines the extremely high density and acoustic performance of fonoblock® with a resilient layer. This makes it suitable for both air and impact sound insulation.
fonoblock + ® is a great team with fonoblock® for wooden construction floors in renovation projects. Together they provide the mass-spring-mass principle in an effective, thin and fast way, which forms the basis for both air and impact sound insulation.
Because fonoblock + ® is robust and waterproof, processing is possible even if the room to be insulated is not wind and watertight. fonoblock + ® can also be used in combination with underfloor heating by means of fonofix® and can be applied with or without a leveling layer.
phonostrip
fonostrip® is an acoustic insulation membrane that separates the floor and interior walls. fonostrip® ensures that contact and air noise cannot be transmitted to the construction via the walls. That is, the flanking noise is reduced.
This acoustic strip can be applied quickly and easily while setting the profiles for the interior on the leveling layer or construction floor.
