European forests, the amount of which is growing every year due to the continued forest economy. We use almost exclusively European wood, not least to keep transport routes as short as possible.

 

Trees extract carbon monoxide from the air and bind the carbon in the form of wood and produce oxygen. If wood gets rid of waste, the same amount of CO2 is absorbed as the tree has absorbed before. With the closed cycle of CO2 absorption and CO2 release, building with wood actively contributes to climate protection.

 

In the life cycle assessment, wooden components have the best economic balance.

Laminated wood has very good mechanical properties, low thermal conductivity, optically and tangibly occupying surfaces, has a long load-bearing capacity in the event of a fire and can be disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner.
