This series is characterized by its sculptural character, inspired by the shapes of a blooming tulip. Expressive details and natural materials blend harmoniously into any refined ambience. With its slightly outwardly sloping edge, the silhouette of the round surface-mounted washbasins is reminiscent of a blooming tulip. The fine ceramic product with a diameter of 430 mm is made of DuraCeram®. Thanks to this innovative material developed by Duravit, extremely fine shapes and thin edges are possible.
Fronts in solid American walnut and a body in Nordic white satin matt (see below) create an elegant overall appearance. The masterful precision is reflected in charming details such as the mitered edges. The two drawers with tip-on technology, self-closing mechanism and interior lighting, which switches on or off automatically when opening and closing, provide additional comfort. Thanks to the organizing system in matching solid wood, everything can be neatly sorted. All White Tulip furniture is available in solid colors in five different silk matt and five high-gloss lacquers and two-tone with fronts in American walnut or Natural oak and a body in one of ten different finely nuanced lacquers. Très chic!
A highlight of the series is the free-standing washbasin with a diameter of 500 mm. The precisely fitting furniture base unit is available in five satin matt and five high-gloss lacquers. The shelves, which are accessible from both sides, are available in the real wood variants Natural oak and American walnut in addition to the carcase colors. The semi-high cabinet (880 mm) with two glass shelves, shown here in graphite satin matt, offers additional storage space. The special thing about the silk-matt surfaces: small scratches 'disappear' by themselves. In addition, cleaning and care are very easy thanks to the special anti-fingerprint surface. The free-standing washbasin is also a real highlight in the ceramic version.
Philippe Starck combines in his design the joy of the highest quality materials and unique details that impress through precise handcraft and optimum ease of use. The round freestanding baths in a noble high-gloss finish continue the design language of the White Tulip ceramics. With a diameter of 1400 mm, it creates an inviting, generous space for well-being.
The formal styling of the ceramic products can also be found in the toilets, bidets and urinals. The White Tulip wall-hung toilet is equipped with the innovative HygieneFlush flushing technology and the proven antibacterial HygieneGlaze ceramic glaze.
The rectangular washbasin furniture in an abstract way mimics the inflorescence by copying the slightly outwardly curved edge. Washbasins are available in the dimensions 750 x 490 mm and 1050 x 490 mm and as a washbasin in the dimensions 450 x 330 mm. The rectilinear character of the furniture is also reflected in the semi-high cabinet. The two glass shelves and the height of 880 mm offer sufficient storage space.
Sometimes it only takes one design element to create a holistic effect. In the White Tulip series, this is the striking round handle in chrome. In conjunction with the vanity unit (984 mm), here in high-gloss Taupe, the handle provides a special feature as a visual highlight. The handle creates a striking contrast on the matt lacquers and solid wood surfaces.
The high-quality metal frame of the chrome-plated console is rounded off by a wooden shelf, which is available in all White Tulip surfaces. Shown here in Stone Gray high gloss. In addition, the chrome structure can be equipped with round towel rails. They optionally appear on the left or right or on both sides as an iconic feature.
The White Tulip mirrors with an all-round LED edge light field create a harmonious lighting atmosphere. They are available with non-contact sensor operation or additionally with innovative app operation. With the app version, the light temperature with memory effect can also be synchronized and controlled with other linked light fixtures. In addition, the mirrors can be dimmed and the mirror heating can be switched on and off.
The oval design of the free-standing baths, made of high-gloss sanitary acrylic, is a consistent continuation of the silhouette of the ceramic White Tulip products. The bathtub is available in the dimensions 1600 x 800 mm and 1800 x 900 mm.
