THE FIRST STONE

Aberson, Bricks and Zwolle. A household name since 1931. The roots, however, lie in Groningen, where Aberson Sr. started his business in 1929. The development of the Flevopolder sharpened his entrepreneurial vision; he saw opportunities and decided to establish his company close to 'the new land'.
In 1954, Aberson Sr. died in a tragic road accident. His only son, Henk Aberson, took over the thriving business. He was in charge until 1989, after which he passed on the baton and passion for ceramic products in 1992.
Aberson BV continued to grow and over the years branches opened in Amsterdam, Roermond and Breda. The drive to innovate and collaborate is still ingrained in our DNA. We think brick. For over ninety years.
